Live drive is an online storage service where you can keep a copy of your important files and have them available online. There is no limit to the total size of the files that you can store in the LiveDrive data centers. The program will also keep an eye on the files that you have specified for backup and if any change has been made, it will automatically backup those files that have changed. LiveDrive also permits the user to gain access to the online files and you can add an L: drive so that you can work on the online files as if they are in your own computer. All you need to do is sign up for an account and then download client software called LiveDrive Desktop Software.

LiveDrive has several advanced features and these include the ability to access your online files in all of your computers, the capability to utilize your files anywhere you are, and the creation of a new drive in your computer to simplify access to the online files. These files may also be accessed by using mobile computing devices, such as the Blackberry and iPhone. You can also share your files with friends without the need to email them. The Briefcase service of LiveDrive also permits easy transfer of files, such as photographs, to social networking sites like Flickr, Facebook and SmugMug. You can also work with the files in Briefcase while you are not connected to the Internet. The files will automatically be updated when reconnect to the Internet.

Another positive feature of LiveDrive is that you can access the online files from all of your computers if you have installed the LiveDrive Desktop Software in all of them. Still another handy feature is that every user is given a personalized URL that will permit you to access your online files by using your browser to go that URL. You can allow other people to have access to a file by making it a public file. Public files will have a separate tab in the user’s personal URL. However, the files that you want to remain confidential are password protected.

LiveDrive offers a free trial period of two weeks for its Backup and Backup & Briefcase plans. For the Backup plan, you can backup an unlimited number of computers and use an unlimited amount of storage for the price of $6.95 per month. The Backup & Briefcase plan permits you to do more at $16.95 per month. Features that are provided in addition to the standard plan include accessing online files from all of your computers, listening to music files online, watching movies online, reading of documents online, viewing of pictures online, and addition of the L: drive to each computer.
Meanwhile, an important issue against LiveDrive is the absence of a scheduled backup feature. You can only keep your files online to ensure they are safe. However, it does not automatically create a backup of important files. Overall, LiveDrive is a useful online storage service although it needs to address the absence of the automatic backup feature.

Swoopo is the latest addition to the world of auction, and is creating quite a buzz amongst bidders. But nearly everyone is wondering if Swoopo is a scam, they are looking for Swoopo Reviews, so we thought we will put up an honest review of Swoopo in order to put everyone's mind at rest regarding Swoopo.

What is Second Life?

Second Life is the internet's largest virtual world, imagined and created by it residents. Second Life has more than a million active residents and thousands more join every day.
Second Life is a highly imaginative, creative environment. Visiting Second Life is like stepping into a Dali or Magritte painting in 3D. The "fully textured high-resolution" avatars are customizable to the "nth" degree, with dozens of sliders to change every micro-pixel of your avatar's shape, size, and color. While some "Lifers" (the preferred nickname of Second Life citizens) do their best to create miniature versions of their offline bodies, most use the opportunity to make themselves look as strange as possible. You never know what (or who) you'll see in Second Life, which is part of the fun.

While many gamers visit Second Life, it is not a "gaming" world per se. The main in-world activity is the building of interactive objects using a scripting language that is theoretically designed to be simple enough for those with no previous programming experience. This fits in with Second Life's stated goal of encouraging widespread group participation and creativity. Objects can be either donated to the world or can be sold for "Linden Dollars."

Second Life's often bizarre "waking dream" atmosphere may appeal more to creative artist and techie folks than to the casual social chatter. The world is so rich in features there is a bit of a learning curve to overcome to get started, which is somewhat alleviated by well-written help files available at the site and a first-visit tutorial. The very name "Second Life" conveys the idea that this is more of a rich, complex online experience than a place to drop by every once in a while for a quick game of "Tringo" with some buddies. If you get freaked out by seeing odd things that you can't explain, this world is not for you. But postmodern surrealists will love Second Life's ever-changing landscape with its stunning scenery and interesting creations. Plus, you can fly!

How it works is quite simple, go to the site and find a game to play! The truth is, I always go straight to the "online games" link because those games are free to play and don't need to be downloaded. After I get bored with those games, I go ahead to the Download section and download some free trials. Free trials can be played for an hour which is usually enough for me to have fun.

You can then purchase the games if you want to play them longer or get to higher levels. You can also get a subscription plan to play all the games unlimited. I, however, choose not to do this. Although I've been tempted many times to start paying for the games, I always talk myself out of it since there are enough free games to keep me busy. Plus, I have this trick where I download the free trial on my computer and my husbands computer so I get to play them all twice :) Maybe if I had more time on my hands, I'd talk myself into a subscription.

The games are fun for all ages and really help you use your brain! You'll see racing games, old arcade games, and more, but my favorite games are usually the strategy or adventure ones that really make you think. Most games only take a few minutes to learn and after that you can come back whenever you are bored to play them again.
